Where some surveyors will send a letter to adjoining owners as part of a Notice, in addition we endeavour to make verbal contact initially, where practicable, affording the opportunity to explain the scope of the Building Owner’s proposed work and deliver first hand assuring information. We have found this assists dramatically in avoiding Notice Dissent and adjoining owners will often agree to our joint appointment, rather than appointing their own surveyor.
