Project preparation

At the preparation stage of a project it is crucial to identify all potential constraints, or influencing factors, which may possibly impose difficulties on a project, or it’s financing. We are able to assist in providing pre-project advice which would include:

Feasibility studies - Development of the client’s brief. Determining if a project is feasible, when measured against the client’s objectives and intended use of the property, taking into account on site specific factors such as physical constraints and off site factors for example, statutory provisions and regulatory requirements.

Scheme Design - Developing scheme design options to reflect the clients brief. The client’s preferred scheme can then be developed sufficiently for preliminary cost planning.
Preliminary cost planning - Establishing project pre-tender cost estimates for the purpose of budgeting and or securing project finance.

Pre planning consultation - Advising on the need for Planning Permission, Listed Building Consent or Building Regulations approval. Preparing the clients preferred preliminary design options and undertaking pre-application consultations with the relevant authorities. Refer to our Statutory applications and consents page.
